About Me

In 1983 I was offered my first contracting gig ever. The job took place in New York City at Lincoln Centers Avery Fisher Hall, home of the New York Philharmonic. After the large success of the evening, I recall thinking to myself while driving home, this is what I wanted to do with my life. Putting ensembles together is one of my greatest joys in my professional life. Beginning a project from first contact to the last minutes before the performance is quite enjoyable for me and extremely satisfying.

Over the years I have worked with various Chamber groups, Chorus' & Symphony Orchestras of all sizes. Currently I am the Orchestra Personnel Manager of the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra www.NJSymphony.org. I have been their Personnel Manager since 2003 and have been an extra percussionists with the NJSO since 1998.

Some of the groups I have worked with include The Westchester Symphony, The Riverside Symphonia, Ars Musica, The Pro Arte Chorale, The Morris Choral Society, The New Philharmonic of New Jersey & Sound Imagination. Coupled with the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra, I assumed the role of House Contractor for the New Jersey Performing Arts Center, home of the NJSO. www.NJPAC.org Here we have produced dozens of performances ranging from full blown staged productions of My Fair Lady, The Rat Pack, The King & I, Some Like it Hot, Evita and many more to single engagements with Johnny Mathis, Bernadette Peters and Patti Austin, Chris Botti, Spike Lee and so many others.

As a Music Coordinator, I began working on a production of A Tale of Two Cities (2004) www.talemusical.com, the musicial. By 2007, we opened at the Asolo Repertory Theater www.asolo.org in Sarasota Florida and one year later at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre in New York City.

The next chapter of my work came in the winter of 2012 when I began writing my book,
Onward and Upward. Author House was the chosen vehicle in getting my manuscript to print. You can purchase a copy of
